The Museum for African Art is dedicated to increasing the understanding and appreciation of African art and culture and has organized a wide range of critically acclaimed in-house and traveling exhibitions. Currently closed, the Museum is scheduled to move to its new location at Manhattan's Museum Mile in 2012.
